Yes, often.
I usually go for synthetic boxer-briefs, made by various different companies, under a pair of regular sports shorts. The really cheap ones from Decathlon are actually some of my favourites.
Although I do like the modern trend for swimshorts that have the long tight underwear already sown in, too.
